INTRODUCTION

Binti Africa Foundation (BAF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) informally established in September 2005, and officially registered by the Government of Kenya in September 2006. BAF seeks to work with like-minded individuals in the pursuit for equality and championing for increased participation of the girl child and women in development issues locally, regionally, and internationally.

VISION:

A society in which all persons, particularly girls, women, and the disadvantaged, can exercise their right of access to resources necessary to live a dignified and fulfilling life.

MISSION:

To act as a focal point for solidarity and collective action for women in pursuit of information and resources that are necessary to improve their livelihoods

OBJECTIVE:

The main purpose of the organization is to promote and avail services that will lead to empowerment of the Girl Child and women in general by unblocking the blockages to access of education, economic independence, leadership, and information.

GOAL:

Our goal is to build a financially sustainable and scalable organization that delivers affordable critical goods and services that elevate the lives of poor communities, particularly women and children.
